btr_chart.pngBonTerra Resources Inc (CVE:BTR) (PINK:BONXF) is carrying out an aeromagnetic survey on their property, which has led to share price volatility over the past couple trading sessions.

BTR lost 8.2% on Monday under a non-significant trading volume. The stock price still retains a 5% gain calculated from last Thursday and Friday sessions when news had pushed the share price up by nearly 14%.

On Sep 22, the company said an airborne survey is being carried out on their Symphony property in British Columbia. The survey will total 308 line kilometers of readings.

BonTerra_logo.jpgThe property directly borders a Silver Queen Mine, which had been producing in the past. The company can partially rely on historical ore grades produced there to evaluate the potential of their own property. Silver Queen had production up to 299 g/t silver, 6.17 g/t gold, 6.73% zinc, 1.16% lead, and 0.47% copper.

The Silver Queen property is now explored by New Nadina Explorations. The contractors have already found grades up to 493.5 g/t silver, 5.06 g/t gold, 13.5% zinc, 6% lead and 2.88% copper. The best possible news for BonTerra is that the mineralized trend goes towards the Symphony property.
